Because of the huge increase in students I have this year, I've been asked by the university I teach at to start a tuba/euph ensemble. Unfortunately, we don't have a single piece of music for the ensemble so I have to build a library from scratch. I'm interested in hearing from any of you tuba/euph directors about what pieces are around these days that work for this medium. I've ordered some things from Robert King that I've played back in college days but that was 15 years ago and I'm sure new stuff has come out since then. Also, if you know of a good source for such music, that information would be appreciated. My traditional sources of music don't really carry tuba/euph material and I hate ordering from Robert King because of how long it takes. However, they sprang this on me at the last minute and classes have already started so I need to get some music to play FAST! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
