I have a 1920's Conn Eb. It is a wonderfull horn except I have a serious problem with Eb,D and Db below the staff, they are just way flat. The intonation is just fine for Bb and the Eb in the staff. I'm using a new Conn Hellberg mouthpiece. Anyone having any suggestions on how to fix this? Another mouthpiece? Is there any possiblilty that my local repair person can help? Shorten the lead pipe? Throw it under a train? I getting desperate,I'm getting great at lipping things in but it hard to keep up :-).
