I know this isn't in the spirit of the original post, but why not just download the midi file from Classical Music archives, etc.? Accurate notes, requiring only graphic input (ie adding slurs and dynamics, etc)

I've used sharpeye, midiscan, smartscore, etc, and have found the results roughly fit into 2 categories; 1) easy scores that were scanned quite accurately, but that I could have played in myself, and 2) more complex scores that will either take me ages to edit (ie aren't converted very accurately) or take me ages to play in...

Don't get me wrong; there is a place for this software, I just find it less useful personally. For the record, I consider myself to be a fairly poor keyboard player, but a Cubase "power user", and fairly fast in Sibelius.
