When I was in high school, my band teacher had a 78 rpm recording of Bill Bell and the "Jolly Farmer Goes to Town". On the B side was a tuba-flute jazz duet called "Jabberwocky" if my memory serves me right. It was a nice little showy piece. Has anyone else ever heard of this and is the arrangement available anyplace anywhere, anyhow?? Or does anyone have this recording? It's not on the "Bill Bell and his Tuba" LP.
I have also heard that Bill Bell did all of his recordings on an old Eb 4 valve sousaphone that he liked. Comments?
