I was just listening to to a CD entitled "Weill Threepenny Opera Suite" with Chicago Pro Musica playing and realized that not a whole lot of people probably own it or have even heard it. It happens to be among my favorite recordings of brass playing. Rex Martin sounds great on it. I also give special notice to the trumpeter. Outstanding sound.
What is a recording with great brass playing on it that you listen too, that doesn't get much recognition? I am especially looking for chamber music.
