Any of you guys ride tandem? My wife and I ride a Rick Jorgensen "Tango" from the mid-80's (Bicycling reviewed it called it "a tubefest" and "heavy metal"). A wonderfully stable bike--child's play to do track stands on. It's a great way to get the thrill of REAL bicycling speed.
I met my wife by showing up to club rides stag with an old Jack Taylor tandem and casting for stokers.
It worked.
