Of the three models that you've offered for comparison, the Willson clearly the easiest to play in tune and has a big sound. Some think the Willson is bright in the low register, but the big payoff is the Willson's super-easy, in tune, and LOUD low register (I like the Willson low register sound very much. Some others don't).

Tony Clements raves about his Gronitz. I haven't played one. If (at its lower price - I have to get about $9K for a new Willson.) it stacks up to a Willson, its a DERN good deal. Tony has these on the west coast, and uhh, someone, uhh, has them on the east coast.
