I have been playing on a CC tuba for many years and now want to challenge myself by learning how to play an F tuba. In the past, I have done some f tuba playing and my experiences show that f tubas play horribly out of tune (or maybe it was just me). I Know that many would suggest to find the horn that suits you. However, can I get some of you to give me a list of f's that you would never want to buy? And, which one would be the best for my money. ie. are you really getting what you pay for when you buy an 8 or 9 thousand dollar tuba or is it just the brand name game?
