OK, I know certain posters are most pleased with their BBb instruments so here's the question:
If YOU were shopping for a top-quality BBb, where would you look and what would you go for? Let's assume you don't want to play CC for now :-)
I'm thinking Vintage American-Style York/Holton/Martin etc, etc.; new versions 'like' these (Gronitz comes to mind - ANYONE played one?); or German-style RV horns - RM, HB, Alex and the like??
Most 'serious' CC buyers wouldn't consider an instrument Top-End without 5 valves. Should you as a 'serious' BBb player?
I'm looking for YOUR opinions on this.
The 'go for whatever suits you' thing doesn't apply here...
