I was a pretty good highschool player, and a number of professors thought that i could and should (because they thought i had the ability to), be a professional tuba player. My band director, among others, thought that it was almost my responsibility to myself to make it. My problem as I prepare to choose, if I really dont think i can practice enough and things, and I am not sure what i want to do, should i try? Is it my duty to be a musician? Will I regret it, as everyone else says, if i do something else? My intrests and abilities are varied. My choice to remain anon is for a number of reasons. Thanks.
