Thank you to all who responded to my many tuba questions...
Here's another: I know that my son currently plays a BBb tuba - is this our only choice as a band instrument? I notice a lot of other choices CC, F, EEb, etc. Can someone explain the differences or why one would be "better" than another. As I said before he has played for two years. He is in Advanced Band at school. Another tuba I found in my $3,000-3,500 price range is the Cerveny 6834MR or 686MR. Any comments - or am I better off with the St petersburg or VMI 103???
