Honestly other than marking orchestral music easier to play by providing simpiler fingering changes as opposed to BBb tubas, what makes them so superior to a BBb tuba, F tuba, or even an Eb tuba?
Many college professors, teachers and pro tuba players tend to (IN MY OPINION!!!)
denounce anything other than CC tubas. There are very few exceptions to this generalization. Why is that?
Just curious...I don't want to start some kind of heated debate over this:-)
