I agree that Disney has quite a racket going on, but some high school groups actually get paid to perform at Disney / Epcot - I know this is true because last year my son's high school orchestra was paid $1,000 to perform at the opening of a flower show at Epcot, and Epcot offered them an additional $1,000 for another performance which they turned down.
