Hmmm, I thought the Dynasty had a 10" bell. Oh well. I played an early Willson made Euph in key of G. (made by Willson, dist. by Dynasty) God that sucker was a beast. Well, I think that even the marching euph's despite the mass of the horn hanging on your biceps :0 are more sonorous than bari's. Like with Phantom and Vanguard, marching nearly all-euph lines. Vanguard had maybe four baris. Phantom the same I think. And the low brass line had such a fat dark sound. And now with Yamaha doing their own take on one could really broaden there chokehold marching brass. Yeah Dynasty has a share as well, yet more and more B flat hornlines are choosing Yamaha. Especially after the intro of their purely marching Bb tuba. Kanstul has all but disappeared, with only a few big names on their list. (Spirit, Bluecoats) Either way, Yamaha is really going to throw down in the marching market.
